I'm a thinker in my time.
Making everything rhyme.
Wondering whether is the sky really blue
or if the ancient tells of the old are true.

I love the times of the old.
The king ruled in his stronghold,
The knights rode impressive steeds.
and the peasants lacking basic needs.

I am a bit childish kind of guy.
I am sometimes a little shy.
I like to think myself as kind.
My balance is gravely misaligned.

I have a quiet personality and enjoy calmness
I am proud to say that is something I can harness
Some also think I'm quite nuts.
because sometimes my mouth never shuts.

A lot of people call me patient.
The rest call me impatient.
For during a crises I can still smile
yet one rude comment can break my style!

I love the little things.
especially when the bird sings.
Simple scenes relax me so.
A spider capturing dinner at my window.

Me and religion do not mix.
I simply think they are all tricks.
But I still respect one's view.
Even if I believe it not to be true.

I am fond of food, as many will say.
I will always hunt down the best tray!
From pasta al dente to vol-au-vent pastry!
I am picky when to see if it is tasty!

"I cannot live without books"
Is a line that gives me odd looks.
From the unknown strange mystery
To the light hearted comedy!

I have saved the best for last.
Writing this piece has been a blast!
Without these rhymes I make to flow.
I could just go head and jump out the window!
