About Me
The word, Tusitala, means Storyteller in Polynesian. A friend gave me that title because I attended his club several times and presented stories there. I have told stories orally before audiences since the 1980s and have been guest speaker well over 800 times. I keep statisics and since 1995 alone I've addressed 760 audiences and just over 41,000 people, so the name is probably justified.
As a writer,well...a dozen books, lots of short stories and poems, thousands of essays and articles and even three film scripts, none of which makes me a 'recognized and professional' writer. However, I continue to indulge myself and pursue my passions.
