I went to college, became a sports geek gym-rat, got my varsity letter, abandoned the gym (and a scholarship) for FM radio, read some news, got into trouble by the wrong people, then hired to write sketch comedy by the right people, sold my show then turned to film, went to NYU made some films, headed south and wrote some scripts, got an agent (not much there), wrote some more, then the big one URBAN MYTHOLOGY. ICM came calling, and I answered, raised some money and made my movie, took off for LA started meeting people in bars, made some connections, then made some films, then made a pilot, then the networks came calling, then made some more connections, got paid to write, made some deals, got hired to direct and jumped the shark, so back to writing and now onward and upward!
