"I don't want to sound like I've studied writing, I want to sound like I've studied life."

As a writer I tend to be a sponge for real life experiences; drawn to passion, raw & untamed emotion and pain. It's a love-hate, give-and-take kinda thing. I don't limit my writing to my own private world and have a vivid imagination that has trouble being inside any box...
I'm a passionate creativity-holic; writing is just one of my addictions...music & good coffee are two more!

Advise to young writers: Write loud and proud even in your silence, through your tears, even in the inevitable dungeons of life...be selective, sure, but don't let your gift be "the thing no one can touch." Your voice may be too important!
Writing is best when it flows free, not forced or forced to hide...however, if you are considering writing as a career, there's no getting around spelling and grammar.

May 2016 note: Someday, you might find yourself blocked or the victim of drama...Don't sweat it because the genuine would inquire before believing or judging from rumors or issues.
I'm told, other sites like this are worse.
