When I first joined this site I provided a very vague profile of who I am. So, I figured I would elaborate a bit more on what makes me, me. I am 30 years old. For the past 7 ½ years I was a medical researcher at a pediatric office in Pittsburgh, PA. Recently I started doing monitoring work for clinical trials. I am basically an auditor for clinical studies. I make sure the studies are done ethically and per protocol. I finished my masters about a year ago, and I am currently taking physics and astrophysics courses at MIT to expand my knowledge. I have always been fascinated by the universe and decided to try and understand the most I can about the world around us.
With my job I travel a lot, which allows me time to write. I started writing poetry about 6 months or so ago and painting about a year ago. I love the freedom that writing allows me, it is very therapeutic. That’s basically me in a nutshell. Please read through my stuff and let me know what you think.
One of my favorite poems by one of my favorite poets.
you're welcome, and thank you for your reviews as well. i really dig your poetry, man. i noticed your from Pittsburgh so I'm sure at some point in your life you've ended up in the s****y/seedy part of the philly night life scene at least once.
I have a couple of "short poetry" books going myself. Probably inspired by R.G. too, but I went on a writing bender that Mitch Hedberg would be proud of. I can send you the links if you want.
