Timothy Bateson

Born in England in 1974, Timothy spent most of his life around the East London area, but spent four years in south Wales while studying for a degree in computers. Ironically, he learned to hate the industry after working in the field for a number of years.
At the age of 14 he started working (sometimes intermittently) at local libraries, on-and-off, until the age of twenty-eight, and that's where he discovered (and supported) his love of reading.
In 2005, Timothy moved to Alaska, married Sandi, and the two are still very happily married. Once he obtained his work permit, Timothy changed job fields, and went into cashiering, and customer service related jobs.
While working for a home improvements store, he learned a lot about the construction and remodeling industry while working for a home improvement outlet - something that has come in very useful in designing locations for his stories.
Timothy has had a life-long love for falconry, archery, and role-playing - at least one of which he shares with his wife. Over the year, Timothy's had the honor of being able to handle a large number of raptors, ranging from Little Owls, all the way up to a Martial Eagle.
Timothy loves to read, especially fantasy and science fiction books. He includes authors Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Dean Koontz, Piers Anthony and Jim Butcher among his writing influences.
As a reader, and writer, Timothy actively participates in several online communities, acts as an advanced review reader and editor, and reviews every book he completes.
Bonus: Since moving to Alaska, Timothy has been licked by a captive wolf, and fed them dog biscuits from his own mouth.
