I am a relatively new writer who has been doing the odd short story for the past few years. I want to take my writing to the next level: daily practicing, daily studying, finishing a novel, writing many more short stories or novellas, and becoming a full time writer someday. I love to read-what writer doesn’t- and be absorbed into another world that fantastic authors create. I usually read fantasy, historical fiction, sci-fi, fiction and used to read a lot of youth adult books- but I am starting to understand how poorly many of those books are written and I find it rather irritating to read. I do want to branch out and read more books- the classics, unfamiliar genres, things I don’t like, things I hate, but to learn more about writing in the process! I really just want to write, and am willing to take any knowledge anyone has on this site and apply it to the craft. Good luck to all of you on your future projects!
