About Me

I am 25 years old and I am only one semester away from my bachelor's degree in Marketing, but now decided I wanted to go back to my first dream; becoming a writer. I've always loved to write and I just finished my first book and am now working on the sequel. I write for young adults mainly because my teenage years are most fresh in my thoughts. I loved to rebel and many of my stories are losely based on my friends and I. I love the fall, everything about it; the smell of pumpkin spice, the cool crisp air, and most of all the vibrant colors of the leaves. I love to take pictures of everything and anything. A pair of Uggs, jeans and a hoodie make me happy. I love to travel, but hate to fly. My friends and family are my inspiration. In September 2008 I lost my grandfather and I realized the pain is something that will never go away. I don't like my job, but it pays the bills and I now know life isn't always a party. I use to suffer from panic attacks, but learned to keep them in check without medication (it is possible). I have big dreams and always have and sometimes that is what gets me through a day. I was born and raised on Long Island (NY) and can't imagine living anywhere else. I love the beaches in the summer, the northfork of the island in the fall, the city in the winter and the Bronx Zoo in the spring. I love broadway shows and concerts as well as museums and zoos. I like to crawl up on my couch with a blanket, a good book and a glass of wine or a beer depending on my mood. I love Nicholas Sparks, but hate how his books make me cry. James Patterson is always good for a thrill and for my fix of romance I turn to Carly Phillips. I have to admit that I am obsessed with the Twilight Saga, the love story that Stephanie Meyer created gave me many sleepless nights. I read the series in five days and then wanted more so i reread every book again. I guess that pretty much sums it up.
