Terry

I'm an Air Force brat who was born in North Africa (Tripoli) and grew up in southern Illinois and Germany ( Ich habe Deutschland sehr gern!). Thus having seen the world through this paradoxical looking glass of a life, I took to musical instruments early on, and play what one might term "retro lead guitar" for 38 years now, along with piano, bass, violin, cello, and am currently learning the banjo. I am a serious critic of U.S. politics and policies and recently earned a Batchelor degree at the advanced age of 43, from University of Washington with a 3.8. I am preparing for a Masters this year in political science. I love all forms of writing and research, but comedy is my true love, go figure. My parents were free-thinking liberal democrats and I, raised fortunately in this freedom of thought, am one to the point of militancy. I hope to contribute something to the discussion... p.s. Nothing should live (if you can call that living!) in Washington but ducks and umbrella salesmen.
