About Me
I'm Tim. I'm a 20 year old poet, photographer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. I write heavily on themes such as water, destruction, trees, nature, creation, symbolic animals, people, God, and love (much like everyone). I've filled three giant notebooks in the past few years and I will soon start my fourth. I always sleep with my current notebook under my pillow, along with a pen and flashlight. I am rarely without my book; I can be seen backpacking with only my writing book and a wood statue of an owl in it. I've been published previously, and am always seeking new opportunities with my writing. I aspire to be an English professor and writer for the rest of my days (much like Tolkien and Lewis).
I am fascinated by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Henry David Thoreau, William Butler Yeats, Donald Hall, Edmund Spencer, William Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, The Apostle Paul, Charlie Chaplin, Joseph Conrad, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Justin Vernon, and John Lennon.
