About Me
I have had an aptitude for writing that was noticed by my teachers as early on as elementary school. I began writing poems prolifically as a teenager and achieved my first publication at age 16.
In 2000, I established a self-publication firm called Waterbearer Press. For a time, I put out a literary journey through WP which featured a wide range of amateur work, both of my own and of other writers. I also self-published two chapbooks through the Press: Dark Hallways and Other Passages and A.M. Monologue: The Ramblings of a Poet.
Recently, I decided to take what is really a second stab at writing a novel. After 15 years of mastering the conciseness of poetry, it is difficult for me to adjust to the vast expanse of canvas a novel offers. Needless to say, I was displeased with my first attempt. However the work on my subsequent effort is, happily, going smoothly.
