Stretched out on my quilted bed
bathed in total darkness
Inside burns an inferno
Not one made by man, machine or nature
These flames flick..

Glued to the crimson leather chair
by the sweat leaking from my spine.
I smear my hands on my jeans,
and clench the plastic tightly.

Blood streams from my gashes
My screams curdle with anguish
Tears roll down my puffy cheeks
Confused, is the crowd,
as no criime..

Here I stand
waiting
freezing
my teeth chattering, chilled to the bone
I wait anyways
My only choice
I'm trying to help,
I know its no good
