I love stories. I thought I'd get the simple soundbite sentance out of the way before we start. For me, i find the process of writing involves trying to slow my head down enough to write the story down. I'll get an idea and run with it, completely lost in the story and before i know it the bad guys dead, the hero gets the girl (or guy) and the mystery is solved even before i've writen anything down.

I tend to write fantasy with a twist. I've found most fantasy out there is either larger-than-life heroes and heroins in a fantastical world (lotr, David Eddings etc) or fantastical happenings in and around the real world (J.K.Rowling, His Dark Materials). I try and mix the two and hopfully end up writing real people in a fantasy world.
