I'm 24. I'm foolish and joyful and sad and amazing.
I'm a physics major and I'm also trying to get a novel finished. I'm of an artistic temperament (I draw, paint, compose music) and I want to discover the mysteries of life, the universe, and everything, or at least make a wonderful discovery or two. I love animals and nature and my family more than anything. Cats are extremely important.

I write YA fiction, mostly, because that's what I've been trying to write since I was twelve or so and started writing real fiction, but I also do the poetry thing and have written essays and research papers.

I read about quantum physics, and nature, and I love thoughtful novels and stories (like *A Wrinkle in Time*, *Watership Down*, *The Velveteen Rabbit*, T.A. Barron's books, and *Time Traveler's Wife*). I love Rumi, Walt Whitman, and Jorge Luis Borges. I might end up a quantum physicist but I don't think science is everything.

On Midsummer I still look for fairies.

I'm on here because I want to talk to other writers who are serious about writing.
