Well hi there. My name's Matt and I'm an a-- whoops, wrong thing. I write poetry in my spare time but my true passion is music. I try to write, though I never can get very far with it. For the most part, I use poetry as a form of release. A way to admit my problems and my many insecurities to a faceless reader. I suck at talking about my problems so I write about them instead. Naturally, most of my poems are kinda depressing. I don't just write for myself, though. Every time that I post something, I hope that whoever reads it will find some value in it. The goal is that at least one person who stumbles across my fairly lackluster poetry will read it and feel like they're not alone. I hope that people can connect with the things that I say, and ultimately grow with the knowledge and feeling that they aren't alone. I've been writing for about three years now, and ever since the second poem I wrote, that has always been my goal. Below, I've got a couple links to other websites I'm on. Mibba has literally everything I've ever written. It's where I first started posting my stuff. Hellopoetry is where you'll find my work from March 2013 forward. I'll be posting on all three of these websites every time I write something new. When a friend suggested hellopoetry, I just couldn't give up Mibba. I'd grown too close to it over the years. And now that another friend has suggested this site, I can't let go of the other two. Anyway. I know I've rambled in this tiny little box and all. Please forgive me. Or else...... >:D
