Sophie has been writing stories since she was could hold a pencil, and hoped to be a child prodigy, but at 48, fears she has left it a bit late. She is Managing Editor of an art and craft publishing company and writes in her spare time. After departing into screenwriting for a few years she has returned to her first love, the novel. She is engaged in an extensive revision of a psychological thriller, Unspeakable Things, after taking on the constructive comments of a consultant attached to a literary agency. Her hopes lie in this being her first published work, since its characters and story refuse to let her rest. Sophie lives in Kent and is happily married with two teenaged sons.
