I've been writing as long as I could hold a #2 pencil (preferably Berol), predominately poetry, prose, and short stories. But I'm not a poet... I'm a Capricorn. Nikki Giovanni is a poet. Langston Hughes was a poet. Maya Angelou is a poet. Tupac was a poet. Samuel Taylor Coleridge was a poet... Poets get paid for this. I'm like Michael Jordan... I'm just in it for the love of the game.

Oh yeah... I write predominately freestyle/freeverse poetry...

Definition: Free verse (also at times referred to as vers libre) is a term describing various styles of poetry that are not written using strict meter or rhyme, but that still are recognizable as 'poetry' by virtue of complex patterns of one sort or another that readers will perceive to be part of a coherent whole.

If you don't like it... I'm sorry you're missing out...

Critique me... but please... proofread your comment before you do. Nothing worse than reading a critique worthy of being critiqued... Also... don't be trying to change ME to be YOU. What I write is my WORK... I don't come on your job telling you how much salt to put on the french fries.
