My Life the Great Odyssey

The life I�m living is just fine
Sometimes I feel it�s a little puzzling
But that�s me making things complicated

In this short lifetime
I have conquered and lived
Experienced and taught
Lead and followed
Took and gave
Fed and eaten
Wrote and read

Of all the things in my life that remains constant is
Growth that is ever changing
A steady gathering of diverse words and worlds
Challenging rhymes and rhythms
All making a thick consistency in my blood stream traveling
It is in me

I remember watching a bird fly in the morning
Gathering food for my family
And oh my
How I�ve laughed and smiled through this life
I�m thinking back on memories of
Drinking beer from as keg for the first time
Drinking liquor that burned
In a bar underage � scotch at 19 years old
I remember smoking weed from a bong
On a bike trail with someone I barely knew
I remember being asked if I wanted to snort a white substance
At a party but I was too chicken
I didn�t mind being cowardly at that moment

There have been bonfires
Ecstasy trips
Orgies
Wild orgasms
Shoplifting
Health scares
Aroma healing
Spiritual retreats
And swimming with live sea life in my lifetime
All being backed by groovy music and
Feelings of danger but exhilaration
It all seems bad, interesting and criminal but
I just call it living, loving and owning every moment.

I�ve met a lot of people and became friends with most of them
I�ve trained people
Lead people
Loved
Hugged
Kissed
Touched people
Did the you know what with you know who
Worked with and under and above people
I�ve been betrayed before
Lied to
Avoided
But also loved and honored by others as well
People change
Times change

But with the earth constantly rotating
And the universe constantly evolving
One thing remains constant
And that is growing ever changing
