I am a retired (yea right) chef due to associated health issues. But I still keep as active as I can. I am studying the Cert. in Arts at Massey University having completed a Creative Writing paper in 2017. I have finished my first book and by using Create Space and Ingram Spark to get it out was such an ease. The book will be sold through Amazon and retail bookstores. The title is: Victorian and Edwardian Receipt Book with the sub-title of Cakes. The book covers the period of 1800 to 1940 and there was a huge amount that were omitted. But hopefully all going well there will a volume set to follow which will included everything in the various databases (Menu and Receipts) covering this period. This is the culmination of more than 5 years of compiling and at least 20 years of research. There is a huge number of cakes in this section and it is only a small section of what is in my database. I used to write under the non-De-plumes of Chef on Safari and several others. But what I now need is one solid outlet for all of my previous work. Here at the writers cafe, they will can now be found.
