I'm an improv poet at heart, writing with the thrill of the unknown always ahead of me. Poetry began as a form of catharsis for me, a way to exorcise my inner demons. The dark themes of my early works still pervade my current poems, but mostly for theatrical effect, in that sense I am a writer of fiction before I am even slightly autobiographical. Amongst other things I play guitar, I am a movie and video game enthusiast, and an amateur gardener.
