Returned from Israel in July 2007 and looking for my next full-time position or other freelance writing opportunities

Long Bio: I'm a 25-year old working girl who just got back from a year-long trip to Israel where i did everything from study at a religious school to working at an Israeli news website to living in the desert. (And I got to interview Donna Karan there!) I do have previous celeb reporting experience, I used to work at Life & Style Weekly magazine and though I was a researcher, the staff let me do some writing and reporting on the side.

In Israel, I wrote for The Jerusalem Post, ISRAEL21c ( Refinery29.com, and JVibe.com. I also created a blog about my experience in Israel for Jpost.com called Write Way Home. Now back in the States, I'm looking for my next journalism gig--hopefully something in fashion or features.

I've written for College Bound Teen magazine, Nerve.com, Savvymiss.com and I blog about being a single AND FABULOUS for a blog called Shoe Diaries (

I've also just received two great writing opportunities
Creating a column for Second City Style ( and
Writing for a fashion indie publication called Metro.Pop
We'll see where that goes...

I graduated from Rutgers U in Jan. '05 and aspire to be a successful NYC journalist and world class debutante. I love fashion magazines, pop culture, and anything having to do with Israel. I spend my free time shopping, pretending I'm high maintenance, flipping through magazines going to NYC, reading, clubbing, and learning Hebrew. I like to pretend I'm high maintenance. I aspire to be a successful features journalist and perhaps a world class socialite.

I hope I'm off to a good start...
