About Me
One of the first books I truly was ever able to read alone was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This series inspired me to read more and more, and then in the 3rd grade my teacher introduced us to a poem titled "The Raven". I probably could have listened to her reading this poem to us over and over, that was my first introduction to the great author Edgar A. Poe. I later went on to read DJ MacHale's Pendragon series, which created a strange style that I just fell for immediately. Of course around the same time I began to fall into more Poe short stories, my favorite being the Count of Amontillado, and then I began to find my style of writing. Mixing fantasy elements with horror. This idea intrigued me, and so I began to read a lot more horror stories, and fell straight for Stephen King.
My biggest influences in my writing are easily Stephen King, Edgar A. Poe, and Robert Jordan.
