I'm hoping WC is about real connections between writers.

Expanding one's readership is a big part of being a writer, but it's less important
than an active role with the right group of people. (too much focus on the solo mission
is what most of us get hung on... at least some of the time)
Our combined consciousness is the source of every new idea, it's where the good stuff
comes from.

I'm here to write. I'm here to read. I'm here to correspond, a lot.

Sometimes my devil's advocate lashes out a little too harshly through my work,
but I'd like to be as positive and genuine as possible with the people I come in contact with.

I basically read who reads me, and I try to comment on the points that click with me,
while ignoring the yuck that all of us write, but not all of us post...
(editing is a craft unto itself)
better to lean towards saccharine than cyanide. Most postings contain sensitive material,
and everyone has a lot more to learn about writing.

Pissing on someone's work for kicks is a hack's calling card.

That said,
please critique my work freely. I have a lot more to learn about writing,
and my skin is thick.
