Saphia Louise

"After all those years as a woman hearing 'not thin enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, not this enough, not that enough,' I woke up one morning and thought, 'I'm enough.' "

My name is Saphia Louise. Not to sound cliche or anything, but writing is my passion. Poetry to be exact. As a little girl, I felt my emotions were the biggest part of me. I expressed them in a physical manner, but it never sufficed for what was needed to be released.

I began writing in a journal/ diary. Eventually, it became a poetic form. This was my sanctuary. I just knew it. Over the years, it became a part of me that just would never leave. No matter if I wanted to stop writing all of my emotions, thoughts, and feelings, I just couldn't .

I admire the art of writing.
