Well hello, and a good day to you.

I'm seventeen and I live near Thame, Oxfordshire, UK. Unfortunately that won't tell you much about me; you can come from anywhere and still be going nowhere. As for me, I'm coming from nowhere and could be heading anywhere.

If I do well enough at A Level, I'll go to Uni, otherwise I'll go straight into the RAF. I think I'll always be writing, so long as I have my eyes and my hands.

I love music, it's my solace and my comfort. I'm listening to a lot of Dylan at the moment. I'm also into films; did any of you get to see Gran Torino? It's one of the best films out this decade.

I read, obviously. Well I say obviously, I suppose you don't have to read to write. Novel-wise, my favourites are LOTR, One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, A moveable Feast... well there are many others. Poetry-wise I'm really into the modernists at the moment, Pound, Eliot, Williams, those guys were incredible.

The stuff I write may be no good, I always have an idea of what I want to express and I'm not entirely sure it comes out right. Really, I just experience stuff and some of it bounces back out of my mind.

I play guitar, do vocals and write songs, I've been in a few bands but write now I'm doing my own thing and practising my harmonica.
