About MeMom, Grandma, Musician, Realtor, Genealogist, Photo Restorer, Photographer... I've been playing guitar and singing for the past 26 years in a band
Sage and written a bit, but most of all raising a family. We work in the Lake Powell area and play a variety of Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz, and Pop while mixing in some Bluegrass and Celtic as well.We play mostly for tourists in the local pubs and restaurants around here. If you have never seen Lake Powell – you’re missing OUT! Writing, I used to do a lot but music and life got in the way. Looking to pick it back up so patience is required. I own and write for the Lake Powell Real Estate Blog in Utah and Arizona at http://www.lakepowellrealty.net What makes me tick? Like most, at times, I look in the mirror and ask that question. Family, of which I have a huge one, for sure. Music, always music. Started out dancing, could not continue, so with help, found out I am a decent guitar player and vocalist :) Ancestors, trying to figure out who they were so I can have a better concept of who I am. Understanding. Truth. Star gazing into the eternities. Some thoughts to live by........ ~Truth is Truth no matter where it is found~ ~Let the loose end slide and let the rough end drag (need to work on this one~ (w.e.r) ~Mean what you say, say what you mean, and you don't need to be mean to mean it~ (w.e.r) ~Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened~ ~Happiness never decreases by being shared~ ~No is a perfectly acceptable answer~ (w.e.r) ~Guilt is not a perfectly acceptable trip~ ~Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family: Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.— Jane Howard~ ~A family is a place where principles are hammered and honed on the anvil of everyday living - Charles Swindoll~ ~He that raises a large family does, indeed, while he lives to observe them, stand a broader mark for sorrow; but then he stands a broader mark for pleasure too.— Benjamin Franklin ~ Comments
