I'm Robert. Retired U.S. Marine for 20 years now. I've been writing poetry (my first literary love) since I was 13. Decided to try my hand at novel writing when an editor friend of mine read some of my stuff and strongly suggested that my poem about my Vietnam experiences should be a novel. This is the novel I submitted to ABNA. I've also completed the first of a Sword & Sorcery Trilogy and have a book of poetry complete. So far my author's portfolio consists of a couple of years writing a newspaper column and a serialized short story published in a "lifestyle" magazine that also published a couple of my poems. Hope that's enough and I look forward to participating in this forum and learning about my fellow writers.
