Robert Robinson

I live in the North East of Scotland and have recently published my first novella, The Fullest Measure and hope to carry on from there. I suppose I was attracted to writing from an early age, I was read to by both my parents and liked writing stories of my own.
The first book I ever read was my Dad's copy of The Stand when I was twelve, he wasn't happy about that, but gave me IT to try and teach me a lesson. Didn't work.
Stephen King was and still is the author I can't wait to read, where I live is similar to New England in terms of scenery and environment. A lot of small towns with one or two big cities and lots of forest and farmland in between. My town has its share of scary looking houses and ghost stories, after reading most of his work and spending my childhood playing in the backwoods around town, I now can't look at them the same way.
I also love science fiction and fantasy as well as fiction and horror and appropriately my first novel, The Fullest Measure is pure scence fiction in the same light as the new Battlestar Galactica series, from which the book draws its inspiration. While that book is the first in a series I have planned, I've also got six other novels in the works varying from fiction, through fantasy and horror as well as one based on my great gandfather's life during world war one.
