I love writing, of course, but I have always wanted to find something in my writing. All my stories have been good but I never feel a connection to them. They seem sort of emty and I'm trying desperatly to make it full of my feelings about the story and why I wrote it. So I've been taking a different approach. I decided to only write one or two chapters of my story and if I liked it I would go on but when I got bored of it I would only turn it into a short story instead. I can't seem to come up with an origonal story of my own and the only writing I have that does seem to reflect my feelings are poems, short stories, and a moment in a book in where I can extend it and add more detail. I'm reading as many books as I can to get ideas and joining this website may give me a new oppertunity to read others writings and get reflections on my own. Although I love fantasy I am willing to experiment with different types of genres and if anyone has any advice please let me know write away. I am also not a sensitive writer so I CAN take harsh critisism. If you hate my writing, tell me, but please don't just say you hate it and not list the reasons WHY you hate it because it doesn't help me at all. If you don't like it because of the genre, then suggest something for me to write and I will be happy to write in that particular genre. If you love my writing, then great. Encouragement helps for all writers and it may give them the drive to move onward with their story. I hope I can learn a lot more at this website and that everyone enjoys my writing.
