an after dinner walk
in the cool breeze,
small exchanges
of the day, a smile
and a laugh fit
somewhere in between

Fill my rifle barrel
with red roses,
beauty has crept
into my soul once more,
free these feet from
rubble, a seed
has sprung anew, the
blades..

It was viewed from a distance
on the hubble of expression
blowing creatively through
a straw, monkey wrench for
monkey scratch
gemstones and sh..

I hold the torch, unlit
high above past Olympus,
I reach for the sun
seeking the spark,
my wings not of Icarus

The paint
would not stay,
sliding from the face

Eyes connect
