no matter what they say.
We may speak differently.
We may live differently,
but we are the same.
Some believe superior

without a sound
eye level with her child,
knees on the ground,
simple gestures,
a play with hands,
like etching textures

We see it in
a stream of a
joyful tear, light of a
prideful cheer,
to
love and accept,
innocence in its
deepest depths,
and

I am convinced,
we are all oblivious.
Pretending. Dissonant.
In the dark. Hands forward,
waiting for the faintest light;
