About Me
I'm currently in Los Angeles putting up two of my plays. I have been writing plays for twenty-five years. I've also produced well over a hundred plays, and LOVE the process of creating theatre. Many of the plays that I've written over the years had their genesis in poems. I have found that the two forms compliment each other, as images in plays find their poetry, and plays have to hold language to a high standard to keep an audience.
I am looking for some L.A. area poets to communicate with--I'd like to involve myself in whatever poetry process happening while I'm here. I had lots more poems posted here at one time, until the big 'crash of 07' as I now call it. It has taken awhile for me to trust again, as I lost some key elements of my poetry in that crash. So, I'm still a little paranoid as of late at posting. Where do broken poems go? Can they find their way home?
