Random Brethren

I'm back! Member of the mass Jottify exodus, and utterly unable to remember what my old description was. Time for an update:

I'm an ecology student and writer. I like long walks on the beach so long as I know that I can wash the sand off my feet at the end, and I also like spider taxonomy. This has scared away many potential romantic interests, or at least I say that to make myself feel better.

My writing interests are looking at the way story affects character, particularly with regards to the way female characters are treated in fiction, and awareness doubly affects that. So lots of meta stuff from me. I also like working with the Caribbean outside of the constrains of slavery, racism, 'the struggle of life' and colonialism. Basically sci-fi/fantasy/comedy, then.
