I've been writing poems for about 14 years. Some of the pieces I post will be new, and some will be from as far back as when I was 15.

Music is a huge part of my life and a big part of who I am. I find inspiration from music and lyrics, so if I get a new album and it helps inspire just one poem, it must be a good album. When a piece is music inspired I will try to post the song or artist which inspired it!

I also sometimes write pieces with a "inside joke" purpose. I'll compile a list of things (song titles, sayings, or phrases) that all relate to a person or an event. I then write using all of the items from my list, to get across a thought. They don't really make sense to others, but I'm really proud that I'm able to do that, and they are fun for me!
