Babaloo

By profession, I am a physician, now retired due to health. By passion, I consider myself a creative artist, but not necessarily a writer or poet. What inspires me are the things that bring me joy or pain---a colorful piece of art, tragedy, the earth and sky, a new friend. The power of words, beautifully written poetry or prose, are gifts we all should aspire to have and enjoy.

Before joining AllPoetry, i don't think I've ever written a poem, although I've always loved to write. I've written many scientific papers and journal articles, but never poetry or prose. Well what a delightful discovery this has been.

In 2010, I publiished my first collection of poems, "Bewildered: Poetry of Life, Love, and Nature".
