John Mallett

I write to entertain some unknown frustration, I often feel like I am destined for great things. As arrogant as that sounds its true, I can feel the fires of creativity burning within me whenever inspiration strikes. This is my outlet, and I welcome anyone to review my work honestly and fairly.

I enjoy reading poetry as much as I enjoy writing it, so I will review other peoples works as long as I feel like I have something worth saying.

My sources of inspiration can be traced back to three main things. The workings of the mind and relationships with others, the world around us, and finally Music.

Music is my biggest inspiration, and while I can't write a symphony or make a guitar sing with passion, I think that poetry (when written well) can sing and enchant just as much as any song.
