Palaho

Literature, the literary process, and writing have been both a pleasure and profession for me. I'm a writer during the day and night; and I couldn't be happier about it! I got a degree in Journalism after rejecting a creative writing (wah!!!) scholarship; but managed to work in print, online, and database publishing since getting out of school. I've freelanced and volunteered as well ... so you can say without a doubt that I'm nuts about writing.

Well, actually, I'm nuts about lots of things -- but me and my shrink have managed to cut them down to a short list. That list includes arts, sports, traveling, and houseplants, as well as enjoying history and being totally lazy.

My writing tends to reflect my personality, though it's hardly autobiographical or even semi-autobiographical. I'm particular about what I read, though I will read anything (even manuals front-to-back!). When I'm not reading or writing, I'm an outgoing introvert (ask the federal shrink about that), so I love hobbies with subjective appeal (arts, sports, travel, animals, houseplant cultivation).

Now ... back to writing.
