About Me

Has a new and demanding job so will not be on here as frequently as I have been.

I will handle all read requests at the earliest opportunity so please have patience.

I have aspirations or delusions of becoming a published writer, it is up to the audience which that is.

Primarily a poetry writer and I only started that as a means of escape from the trials and tribulations of mid-teen hell.

I do not possess any qualifications in English above GCSE level and do not have any intentions of pursuing any, my qualifications of choice were IT related.
I am, however, the secretary for a local writing group and have attended many seminars on creative writing, script writing and writing in other forms.

I am soon to have some works published in a number of anthologies, so it is exciting times :-D

I am developing my skills and trying my hand at storytelling, currently writing around 4 shorts and whatever poems infiltrate the millions of thoughts processed everyday.

Favourite authors in no particular order are:

Stephen King
Neil Gaiman
Anne Rice
Clive Barker
Valerio Massimo Manfredi

I do not have a favourite music type because it is dependant upon mood but do predominantly like rock, metal and indie.

My family is my life.

I hope that you enjoy my ink, and I will in turn read and critique what I can and when. I will be honest so be prepared.

Thank you for your review Kevin. I know how your daughter feels, being the oldest of 4 children and with my mom being a single parent we budget everything. My mom should have some kind of show about coupons.

Thanks for the review first of all. And yes, the bird was sitting in the window shade. But I have no idea why I shooed her away.. To understand how I actually felt, read the short poem "Minor Bird" by Robert Frost :) Have a great day!

Thanks for the lovely review of "Making Fire" :) I was afraid the first stanza was to ambiguous to catch the feeling of new love.. glad you caught it :)

I know what you mean, I was uploading a great deal of my older poems last night and something I wrote - a quick scribble that was an itch in my head - has actually changed meaning with the 6 years that have passed since it was written.
Or maybe it was always intended that way, I don't know.

Keep up the good writing, it is very strong what you write and I will always give an honest appraisal. Even if I message you directly away from prying eyes.

Thanks for the wonderful review and the ponderful questions. Perhaps it is both, or maybe an inner struggle with demons? or maybe it all three or none of them at all. I didn't realize until after I finished the piece that it was so deep.

Thanks for your wonderful review of "Suicide and Coffee" The razor blades are dulled from lack of use and rust ;)
