About Me

What should I tell you about me? My kids are my whole world and I try to give them the best in me that I have. I want them to grow up being proud of me for the mother I have been. I love to read the opinions of others, and enjoy reading all types of writing.

I do not judge others for their choices in life, just don't judge me. I don't make excuses for the things I have done in my life, nor do I blame anyone but myself. I write to clear my head, and empty my heart. I write about my children most of the time, but every now and agian I will throw a Fiction work out there. I have a somewhat twisted view on the world.

I love meeting new people, and making friends. I am up front about my life, ask me and I will tell you... I have nothing to hide. I have found wonderful friends here at the cafe, without them I would have lost my sanity long ago.

Thank you Nicole for listening to me b***h, moan and complain about my chaos.

Thank you David, for giving me the drive to write out side of my comfort zone.

Thank you Andrea, for your understanding as well as your encouragement.

Too all my wonderful friends, you keep me here, to read more of your talent, and enjoy your writing skill.

How goes it? Haven't talked to you in a while, and have to admit that I haven't been as active as I should here on writerscafe either. I miss talking to you though, I hope everything's all right. For me things are going slow, I don't read as much as I should, almost never write and the thesis I've been writing on forever isn't finished either! A bit frustrating to say the least. Although I've found someone who can make me a website so that's good and I've found a few jobs that I'm going to apply for - most of them are in California or Texas.

Talk to you again soon, I hope.

In lollypop land, there's a peppermint sea
'Neath the beautiful shade of a chewing gum tree.
The grass that grows there is a spearmint green,
And the blue of the sky is a heaven supreme.
You walk in the sand that is sugary white;
There are candy-tipped stars that shine
down through the night.

In lollypop land there's a fairy so sweet-
Just a calico queen, all shiny and neat,
A gingerbread house and a rock candy lane
With a red and white fence made of peppermint cane;
An orange-flavored moon, by a cotton fluff cloud,
And gay little elves who are happy and proud.

In lollypop land there's a marshmallow snow,
And the scent of perfume in the breezes that blow.
It's a little girl's dream, and a small boy's delight,
A Santa Claus land from morning till night-
A beautiful smile, and a kind helping hand,
And every day's Christmas in lollypop land.
