Newbunkle

I've always wanted to be a writer, and tried out a few short stories when I was in college. My friends enjoyed them, and passed them onto their friends, until a number of people I didn't know had read them. I remember one day walking to my friend's house and meeting someone coming the other way. I remembered him from school, but we didn't really talk much. He used to hang around with a group that didn't seem to like me very much. I said hello and he told me he'd just read my stories at our mutual friend's house, and that he liked them. He also told me to "keep writing", but after college I got a day job and forgot all about it. Its always been on my mind though, and I seem to have a lot of ideas. My inexperience puts me off, and fear of rejection too, but I'd really like to try writing again.
