About Me

I'm a fifteen year old girl from California. Please call me Cat. I have had three poems published. I love to write poetry, it's how i express myself when i feel like there are a million feelings inside of me that are about to make me explode. I used to express myself in not so healthy ways, so writing is really a saving point for me. I love to write and i love to read. I see so much beauty in the written word... and there is so much to learn. I write mostly poetry, but i have written a handful of short stories, and essays. I also have started numerous novels that i've never quite finished. I am a vegetarian and a huge animal lover.
I'm in a long-term relationship and i'm very happy with him. My boyfriend, sisters, and pets, are the most important things to me.
I would really love to hear other authors input about my writing, and to of course improve myself as an author.

im not leaving....I wont cancel my account. its funny most of my friends in the REAL world don't even know that I write poetry. So I joined this site to show my work. But I'm not gonna be putting up any new work any time soon. So that could be my last poem for a long time. cheerss

hi! thanks for the review.

so many people read this poem as an analogy to a woman (which it is) but also what i wanted to come out in the poem (equally) is the suffering of a land in drought.

im an aussie girl and (as usual) we're in the middle of a drought, the same drough i wrote the poem about 3 years ago. is it just a cultural thing thats making people not see the 'mother earth' side too, or do u think there's anything i could put in to make it more obvious?

once again, thanks!

xox rach.

Thank you so much for all your lovely reviews. I'm glad you enjoyed them, especially since I do not dive into poetry writing very often. :)
