About Me
I'm Kiwi. I can spell that. It's kee-ee-wee-ee. Only not really.
I'm incredibly sensitive. Please take care with reviews. :). Critique I enjoy, but again, please be gentle! I'm not quite ready to be ripped apart yet.
I'm a 18-year-old alumna from an agricultural high school. Contrary to popular belief, that does not make me dumb. Quite the opposite, really, I was just in a school with many people who learned differently. I enjoyed my classes wholly as I had an opportunity every day to work with plants and gather knowledge that will help me in future jobs in the green industry.
I'm an avid learner. Student, yes, but just in general. If someone has something to teach me (and it is my belief that EVERYONE does) I am constantly ready to learn. Because of that, I enjoyed both my vocational and academic classes very much.
I am now a Fresher at the University of Reading in England, living as a dual-citizen international student in halls. I am studying for a degree in Applied Ecology and Conservation. Rachel Carson is one of my (many) (s)heroes. Thus far my experience of the classes and learning has been excellent, and I predict it will continue to be so far into the future.
I'm lesbian, or at least I am if I have to label myself (though I would prefer not to). That makes me a gay adolescent! It also explains why so many of my stories are in those two genres. Grin. What's that saying? "You write what you know"? That tends to be true for me, but I certainly enjoy branching out.
My hip has been yucky the last few years. It's a long story, going all the way back to, basically, my birth. So I'll just say I fractured it and have had a few surgeries since, including a hip replacement! So glad! I am now walking (and jogging from time to time without pain when I'm not lazy) and it is absolutely fantastic.
One of my most wonderful experiences: eating an apple, reading a book, and walking ALL AT THE SAME TIME. It's easy to appreciate such a feat when one has been unable to do it for years.
