Mya Jai

Mya Jai enjoys the simple pleasures life has to offer.
Mya has had a love for writing since grade school. She began writing short-stories in the third grade. Although Mya writes in a variety of genres, her true passion lives inside the heart of poetry. The untimely death of her first love/high school sweetheart lead her to create her first poetic piece. It was a poem that she wrote and dedicated to the love of her life. From there, Mya Jai began writing poetry on a regular basis. Beginning in high school to present day, Mya has written well over 400 poems and counting. Her first love has always been an inspiration to her.

Mya Jai's debut title "Confessions After Dark" was released August 2007. Currently Mya has several projects underway. Her novel " A Change To Come" will be in the completion stage early 2008. Also, her second collection of poetry will become available mid December.
In addition Mya Jai has an online store where she sells unique, handcrafted, custom made scrapbooks. 15% of the proceeds made from each book will be donated to "Captain Hopes Kids."
This non-profit organization meets the critical needs of children who reside in homeless shelters across North Texas.
