I am a completely unapologetic geek. I typically have more dreams than drive. I sing in the shower (and in the car, and pretty much anywhere else I can). I love dogs. I am a smartass, apparently this is genetic since my entire family are also smartasses, even the cousins we only see twice a year. There is a tiny little hole in my soul filled entirely with longing for the city of New Orleans which will always be my home no matter where I happen to be living. My birthday is also Earth day and I was 9 years old before I realized that the petting zoo/hot air balloon rides/assorted booths and festivities weren't for me. On the day I was born, a turkey got loose on the White House lawn and managed to evade the secret service for about 10 hours. I am certain that this was a portent, I just don't know of what.
