Desiree Future is a native of Jersey City, New Jersey and the proud parent of one son. Having been raised in the city�s worst housing projects, she brings both her street knowledge and school education forth in all of her writings. Her style of writing is a very vivid picture of what is real in her eyes today, yesterday and in the future. She is the author of He Made A Difference, a poem written in remembrance of the late Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham, who was the first African American to become the mayor in Jersey City history. Her poem was proudly put on display at the local library named for him. She is also the author of Walking To Find Great Finds; an article revealing just how much walking can be a great treasure in each step you take.
