Joy

I am 51 years old, female and I LOVE writing poetry. My poems are mostly a creation of my personal experience of being in love with a very beautiful man. I do have other poems on subjects close to my heart.that have come to me and asked for release from my brain. My poetry tends to come to me in little spontaneous bouts and very much depends on how I am on any given day. But when it comes it screams for release and I find great happiness and often surprise at what I am able to create. I was a nurse for 30 years a coffee shop owner for 4 and now I'm having a 'gap' month inbetween jobs. I enjoy the comfort of having friends who are likeminded in their love of literature and the arts.Overall I'm a canny woman with a great sense of humour and a cat I adore.
