I wrote-for-hire for many years (tech writer, instructional designer, medical writer, etc.) Then I launched my Tess Camillo mystery series. I also write screenplays, magazine articles (one on obscenity in fiction appeared in Writer's Digest Dec. 07 issue), spirituality essays, and poems. My poem, "The Danger of Skipperlings" received an Honorable Mention from the Oregon State Poetry Association. My writing heroes include Kurt Vonnegut, Beryl Markham, Annie Lamott, Rita Mae Brown and Truman Capote.
