Hello everyone! I'm a 27 year old aspiring writer living in smoggy--I mean sunny California. I never do well with these little about me blurbs on homepages, so bear with me!

I have always loved writing stories, even when I couldn't write all that well I would trace the words from the Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast books when I was five(don't tell Disney!). When I was in third grade my teacher was nice enough to let me put on puppet shows and skits with my friends inspired by my short stories, and I am so thankful to so many of my teachers over the years for putting up with it(the puppet show thing wore off by middle school, by then I knew how easily I could get beat up for something like that). In recent years I have cleaned up a lot of my stories, and have finally gotten up the guts to send my stories to magazines and such in the last year. I have lots of projects in the works right now, as I'm sure we all do, and my goal is just to get the darn things finished!

I haven't been part of an online writing community in a while, and I already really like WritersCafe. There are so many amazing writers on here, and I wish everyone the best of luck with their writing and getting that writing published!
