About Me

I was born with a pen in my mouth and ink bottle on my pillow. I wrote my first short story at six and started writing my first novel at ten. At fourteen I was hit with the spirit of rock and roll and I've never looked back since. A massive audiophile with over 500 CDs and a violent obsession with Britain, you'll find indie rock n roll plays a large part in most of my stories, and many are set in England. I write novels and short stories about indie kids, mods, rockers, stalkers, suicides and northern soul. More stories to be posted very soon.

Please note. I am a writer. This is my chosen profession, I am deadly serious about it. I am not here for social networking or dating, this is not MySpace. Thank you.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the likenesses to Myspace...
How long were you here for? You'd probably like Sheffield, it has a lot of character.
For some reason the traditional English holiday is one where things go wrong, we get bitten by insects, have a hole as a toilet and don't shower. Yet for some reason we like that :s

Also, thanks for the review of One Day You'll Shout It Too. I know what you mean about the absence of sound. It becomes completely about what's not being said, guided by what is. Its an idea that I like very much.

Cheers for the add.
Have you ever been to England or do you just like writing about it?

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the reviews- really good to get comments from someone whose work I've really enjoyed - the suggestions were useful too, got me thinking about some potential developments. I'm really looking forward to reading more of your work on the site.
