I write as a means of escape from a confusion created by modern medicine. Anesthesia, well most opiates and I, we do not get along. A severe reaction to anesthesia during surgery caused irreversible damage that thankfully didn't include any of my creative parts! I am a mother of two, with a best friend and husband that I love dearly. Most of my inspiration comes from my daily struggles with anger and frustration and inability to distinguish any gray area..only black and white...my poetry allows me to express in writing what I struggle every day to express in spoken word...thank you for your support.
